Alexa Wan is a student at the University of California, Santa Barbara and will be graduating this summer. With family originally from Los Angeles, she says she was raised in many places overseas, moving to a new country every year or so. The camera became a natural way for her to explore, make sense of, and delight in the shifting scenes and locations of her childhood and adolescence. “I’m a searcher,” she says. “I’m fascinated by people and how their invisible convictions and intricate traits are worked out visibly in their lives.”
