One of the most striking images in the book is the two page photograph of Margiela’s design team reworking several wedding dresses into a ball gown, thus breathing a new life into cast-off clothes.
With the persistent rumor that Margiela has left, or is on the verge of leaving his label, now owned by Diesel, the book could become a worthy coda to the designer’s career. Not to mention that it will nicely complement his split-toe tabi boots that you undoubtedly already have in your closet.
