#5 The Roadhouse by Alan Brooks & Des Kiraz

Happily, the Deth Killers have returned from their hiatus better than ever. Re-dubbed “Des Kiraz,” the new brand is offering up an exclusive range of t-shirts designed by the most prominent names in sci-fi illustration. Inspired by a parallel universe in which Al Gore won the 2000 election, the new t-shirts “tell the story of our universe. It should be told as a video game, but we don’t have any of that fancy technology [in the parallel universe] so we tell our stories on t-shirts.” Apparently, Gore prevents the 9/11 attacks only to permit the total nuclear decimation of New York City.  The Deth Killers take over the city during the ensuing nuclear winter.
