I’ve drawn many bears over the years. This trend that grew out of the Gay Scene as a rejection of Aryan Herb Ritz marketing (for example) has in itself become the new mainstream. I wonder where this look has left to go…. A cover about the death of the grizzly could be interesting, perhaps a beautiful bear about to shave his beard in despair…. That would be an interesting statement I think…. Hey, maybe I should draw that anyway!
