Selby doesn’t expect that the publication of this book will diminish his commitment to the website: “The book just encourages me to keep going and pushing TheSelby.com in new directions.” He has photographed homes in New York, California, Sydney, Tokyo, London, and Paris. He now estimates that he spends 50 to 75 percent of his time traveling and jokes that he intends “to conquer the world”. He just recently returned from trips to China and Africa, so that notion might not be so far-fetched.
