The decimation of the coral reef by human divers has been expansive, and the sculpture park by Taylor is one of the most ingenious and creative attempts to regrow the coral that environmental activists have seen. By December 2010, the museum will be officially inaugurated (although several sculptures have already been installed) and these works of art will begin their permanent tenure on the ocean floor, working to save the undersea world from the human forms they mimic.
