After several extremely successful years in Tokyo, he decided to show in Paris to find a new audience for his creations. The response to his raw designs has been instant, with stores like H.Lorenzo in Los Angeles, The Archive in San Francisco, and Atelier in New York picking up the line.
     Of course, as any creator, Horikawa does not work in a void but draws inspiration from other cultural sources. Music, the Industrial genre in particular, has had a lot of influence on him as a creator. PLANET caught up with Horikawa recently to discuss its impact on his work.
