Architecture, Fashion September 26, 2011 By Sugar Vendil

215 Boffo Building FashionLimited edition pieces and installations from Formichetti’s past and present collaborations, including mannequins donning outfits he created for Lady Gaga, are displayed throughout. Giving designers the freedom to exhibit pieces that are personally and artistically meaningful allows the space to serve a twofold purpose, as both an art gallery as well as a shop.
Following Formichetti and Gage/Clemenceau are jewelry designer Irene Neuwirth and architecture company TheVeryMany. Neuwirth, whose distinctive jewelry is primarily inspired by the ocean, will feature brand new pieces alongside classics and a weekend bag in collaboration with Supima. Upcoming designers and architects are: Patrick Ervell and Graham Hudson; The Lake and Stars and SoftLab; and Ohne Titel and Easton + Combs. Each shop will have an ephemeral life span of two weeks and offer a brand new visual experience.

Video interviews with each designer on their artistic vision can be viewed here.
