423 An Early Start      As much as there may be for children to gain from a book about the vast and beautiful systems that shape our world, the adults reading along will likely be reminded of lazy summer days by the shore and a time when pigeons were something more than an urban pest. In the end, maybe that’s what we need most of all – an introduction to nature meant for grown ups.
